We added lots of features and Udo did some real performance tweaking.

It’s almost time to release it.

Stay tuned.

Looks like we finally decided on a license.

It’ll be BSD style.

Take a here.

ps:
This is no final decision yet, but the chances are good.

CVS

I just moved the repository to the new server.
Looks like everything worked.

If you find any errors, let us know.

I just finished the news posting system.

So you should see more frequent updates in this spot from now on.

2003-04-01:

The webhost (where we host the “big” files) changed the billing system and somehow the information was caught by our spam filters.
Resulting in our account being suspended and thus all images and files were unavailable.

The problem is fixed.

We also moved our development system and I didn’t find the time to update all the scripts yet.
So there are no nightly builds and the “Last CVS commit” (look up) isn’t updated.
Last CVS commit (now=2003-04-01) is:

Also it seems development has stalled we are still considering this project active.
Udo has been working on a new client server architecture, which will allow easier multi-player gaming, faster development and multiple games per server.
I (=Anti) have been looking into physic, especially rigid body dynamics.
The engine we are using now “seems” to be working, but in realtiy it’s just a good looking fake.
(Look what happens when a fast spinning stone hits a standing one, is the spin transfered ?)

If you find any bugs, just let us know and we’ll fix them as fast as possible.
Happy curling.

2003-01-22:

We consider 1.0.x stable and done.
If we don’t find any grave bugs, we will stop work on 1.0.x.

We made some very nice enhancements to 1.1.x, while keeping very stable.
Do us - and yourself - a favour and check the 1.1.x branch first.

January 22, 2003, 12:00 pm o'clock

We just released Version 1.1.2 (linux+windows).
This contains a lot of internal changes
and some hooks for upcomming features.

Please try this and let us know if it is working.

V1.0.3 has been ready to release for a while now,
but I (=anti) was busy with other things.
V1.0.4 is V1.0.3 packaged with a script,
so there are no externally visible changes.

If you still run V1.0.2 or lower upgrading is recommended.
